Film your swing
On iPhone, tap Record in the app: it films at your phone’s fastest frame rate, with sound. Or upload a video you already have. Choose full swing, chip or putt, and a face-on or down-the-line angle.
Let the app read it
The app finds your key positions in the video and checks each one. Your tempo is measured from the path of your hands, and shown only when the hands confirm the swing.
Fix the one thing
Get Your Focus: the one thing to fix first, with the drill that matches it. Turn it into a 2-week plan, then film again to check.
Filming tips
Five things that make the biggest difference.
- Phone upright, on a tripod — prop it against a bag if you have to, then leave it alone. No panning or zooming. Upright keeps you tall in the picture so the app can follow your hands.
- Whole body and club in frame — 6–12 feet away, waist height, with room above your head for the club at the top of the backswing.
- Light behind the camera — if the sun is behind you, you come out as a silhouette and the app cannot see your posture.
- One swing, from a still address — press record, step into place, stand still for a second, then swing and hold your finish. Keep the sound on: the sound of the strike helps find impact.
- More frames, clearer impact — use Record in the app on iPhone, or your camera’s Slow-Mo mode and upload the original. A slow-mo video that was shared or exported is often flattened back to normal speed.

- Six checkpoints — Address, Takeaway, Top of backswing, Transition, Impact and Follow-through, with a confidence level for each.
- Coaching you can act on — what the AI saw, why it matters, and recommended drills from the app’s 117-drill library.
- Honest about its limits — if something is hard to judge from your camera angle, or the hands cannot be followed, the app says so instead of guessing.
- Manual Checkpoints — if the AI can’t find a position, scrub your own video and mark the frames yourself.
- Swing History and Compare — every analysis is saved so you can look back and put two swings side by side.

After the analysis
A plan for the one thing that matters.
When a swing shows something worth fixing, the app offers a 2-week Focus Plan. It never asks you to fix everything at once: other findings wait their turn.
Short sessions
Two to four a week, you choose. Each is about 25 minutes and 40 to 45 balls: a warm-up, the drill, then hitting balls with the new feel.
A check each week
On the last session of the week, hit 5 balls on the Launch Monitor or film your swing. Only a film check can clear your Focus, and it takes two good ones in a row.
If it is not fixed yet
The plan adds up to two more weeks with a different drill, then suggests a coach take a look. It tells you so instead of pretending it worked.
Reminders
The app can remind you on the days you pick. Reminders are set on your phone, so they need the installed app, not the web version.
Week 1 is free on every plan, including your first film check. Weeks 2 and on come with Birdie and up.
