These terms cover the Scratch Circle app and this website. Scratch Circle is a golf performance and community app.

Your account

You can sign in with Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app.

Plans and pricing

Scratch Circle offers a free Par plan and paid plans (Birdie and Eagle, with Albatross planned). Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; your store shows the final price in your currency. Paid plans are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, renew automatically until you cancel in your store subscription settings, and are refunded under the store’s policies. Each plan includes the monthly allowances shown on our membership page and in the app.

AI analysis and Launch Monitor

The AI swing analysis and the Launch Monitor give you guidance and estimates. Camera-based numbers such as carry, direction, clubhead speed and smash factor are approximations and are not a substitute for professional launch-monitor equipment or for advice from a coach. Player Card ratings compare your numbers with typical players for each club and are for fun and motivation. Results depend on filming quality, lighting and your device.

Playing safely

Golf involves risk. Set up your phone and tripod where it cannot be hit by a ball or club, and follow the rules and safety guidance of the course or range you are on. You use the app and take part in any activity at your own risk.

Your content

You keep ownership of the videos, photos and information you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the features you use, including sending them to our service providers for analysis. Only upload videos you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, bypass plan limits, access other people’s accounts, or upload unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.

Community

Our community lives on Instagram, which has its own terms. Our house rules on the community page apply to anything you post that tags or mentions us. We may remove content that breaks them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Scratch Circle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from use of the app’s estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date above. Continuing to use the app or website after an update means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, without affecting any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws where you live.
